Wicker provions case (Proviandkorb) used by the German side in the first World War. Stamped and marked, all more then easily readable. Only few exist as the wheren’t supposed to last a long life. This piece is in excellent condition. The wicker has no cracks and the leather is in a good condition. The condition is more than fair considering it’s age. The back has metal Chains used to fasten it on a transport. The front has a leather strap that can be used to lock it. We have found an old picture where you can see that it’s beeing used. Buying this means owning a real piece of history. Measurements: 94 x 49 x 30cm Great for any collector of the era or it will make the coolest picknick basket ever!
