Iconic Eames chair for Vitra. The DAR (Dining Armchair Rod) was designed in the late 40”s. The base is a metal rod base, loosely modelled after the “Eiffel Tower”. Originally manufactured for Herman Miller, this model is produced for Vitra and manufactured in 2011. It has been roughly sprayed painted by someon in silver color. Original old beige color shows through on certain spots. Some scrathes on the seat. Rust marks on the base. Stamp and manufacturor mark present! H 80, W 61, D 60 cm Seatheight 45 cm. Stoel van Vitra.
