A beautiful ‘Fungo’ table lamp by Massimo Vignelli for Venini, Italian, 1950s. Fungo means mushroom shape. The table light was designed in 1955, early in Vignelli’s career, when he lived in Venice. The lamp is executed in the incamiciato technique in orange and white glass by Venini, one of the outstanding art glass companies on the Venetian island of Murano. This lamp is in an excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the glasswork. Height 26 cm.
