This very comfortable lounge chair, model 'The Rock', was designed by Gerard van den Berg for Montis in the 1970's. A great design that was the best sold model for Montis in the 1970's. The design is still popular these days as Montis is making a comeback with the 'Florence' lounge chair that is based on the iconic 'The Rock'This example comes in natural buffalo leather and has a splendid patina from age and use with some stains on it which give the chair even more character.
