A black and white lava glaze ceramic vase by Marmaca San Marino. Freeform organic 1950s asymmetrical bottle-like shape. On a front a colorful depiction of San Marino, Italy. Including the castle and some houses. Written: “Ricordo di San Marino” or “memory of San Marino”. On the back a flower in blue, green and yellow. Signed underneath: Marmaca, Rep. S. Marino Marmaca was founded in the 1940’s by Luigi Masi, Filippo Martelli and Wilfredo Carli. Hence the name MarMaCa. Condition report: Excellent vintage condition, no cracks or chips.
