Her husband was a leading industrialist in plastics and the frustration of not having a resin piece of furniture led her to experiment and design with the material herself. She has made a variety of thick-colored polyester furniture such as tables, lamps, and desks. This specific coffee table is striking and a real feast for the eyes. Thick amber-colored resin blocks serve as legs and can be moved separately from each other and the glass top is loose.
