Great design by Louis Kalff for Philips called Timor 69 Desk Lamp. It is manufactured in 1970 - 1980. This version is in brown and gold, and has a UFO lampshade with a hole in the middle for ahead mirror lamp. This great piece of design is from an old municipality building from Belgium, it was a large office and all the desks had these lights on them. I've had 8(!) of these lights in stock, currently 3. All in good vintage condition. But different ones then on the listing photo's, if you wishes to see the one you will buy please send me a message. Also have one black one, a slightly different model, never been on the market by Philips because they are commissioned for the same company. Check them out in my listings too. Major/Timor/Consul: This lamp has 3 names. The first name in the early seventies was Major. In the late 70’s it became Timor 69. The Timor was produced until the eighties. The difference between the two desk lamps is that the Timor is earthed, the Majoris not.
