MDF ITALIA 3012. Beautiful DS1 table designed in 1918 by the Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. GRANDI MAESTRI del 900 collection by MDF ITALIA. Table in open-pore black lacquered ash. The top has beautiful open grain on all three parts. The table is 40 years old. In EXCELLENT CONDITION. Minimal marks and normal small spots due to use. Very well maintained. Beautiful. For display. MDF ITALIA was Cassina's subcontractor and produced, the series the masters of 20th century design in Colle di Val d'Elsa, selling these items also at its furniture showrooms. The table in the Era collection on pages 96 and 97 in the MDF Italia catalogue -3012. MDF Italia was taken over in 2013 by the Cassina- (US-based Haworth Lifestyle Design Group) family holding company.
