Exquisite art deco cabinet consitsing of two parts manufactured by french furniture maker Charles Dudouyt, one of the best first half of the 20th century french furniture makers. It also has a brutalist look. The cabinet has a upper part with a glass display case and two doors. The lower part has three doors and a single drawer. Notice the nice graphical design doors and the beautiful copper handles and hinges and inlaid wooden shelves. Pure quality and craftsmanship. Good overall condition. Working locks and keys. Information on Dudouyt: A major figure in early 20th-century French design, Charles Dudouyt moved France’s design aesthetic from an elaborate classicism to a more modernist sensibility. Following World War I, Dudouyt abandoned painting and drawing to manufacture lamps and other decorative objects. He moved to Paris in 1933 and turned away from French classicism, adopting more refined contemporary forms. His style found parallels with the arts and crafts movement,
